The USTRC National Finals are right around the corner and first things first. It is prep time! Here is a list of things to check now – well before competition time.

1. 1. Check your horse –

• Vaccinations and Coggins up to date?

• How do the feet and teeth look?

• Need to schedule your Farrier?

2. How does your tack look?

• Check for dry rot on off billets and cinches and leather stress points.
• check all buckles and snaps.
• clean bell boots and wraps and check Velcro
• check rubber on horn and bring extra
• Check reins and bring an extra pair

3. Check your gloves for holes and bring backups!!

4. How do your ropes look? Do you need a new one?

• Bring back ups

 5. Is your truck and trailer ready for travel?
